Invitation Letter: University-Enterprise Integration Day & Special Job Fair for 2025 Graduates

We sincerely thank you for your long-term concern and support for the talent cultivation efforts of the School of Chemical Engineering and Materials at Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST)! To further deepen university-enterprise cooperation, promote the integration of industry and education as well as science and education, and build a communication platform for shared talent development, resource sharing, and joint research promotion, our School plans to hold the University-Enterprise Integration Day & Special Job Fair for 2025 Graduates on March 12, 2025. 1. Spring Special Job Fair for 2025 Graduates

  • Registration Period: March 5, 2025 - March 11, 2025, 12:00

  • Event Time: Wednesday, March 12, 2025, 14:00

  • Location: Second-floor Hall, Gymnasium, Binhai Campus, TUST (Campus route as shown in the diagram; enter via the South Gate)

  • Registration Method: Please log in to the TUST Employment Information Website , complete registration. After your registration information and job postings are approved, log in to the system, click on "Job Fairs," and select the "March STEM Schools Group Job Fair for TUST 2025 Graduates" to register. Relevant notes are attached.

2. Scientific and Technological Achievements Exchange Meeting (Special Session for Technical Leaders)

  • Time: Wednesday, March 12, 9:00-10:30

  • Location: Room B214, Building 8, School of Chemical Engineering and Materials, TUST

  • Content: Showcase the School's key scientific research achievements in areas such as brine chemical engineering, chemical separation, industrial catalysis, new materials, and environmental technology (e.g., utilization of sea brine resources, industrial crystallization, new energy materials, green chemical engineering, energy storage technology, etc.), and jointly discuss potential cooperation in technology R&D, transformation of technological achievements, and university-enterprise collaboration.

3. Talent Cultivation and Teaching Practice Seminar (Special Session for Enterprise Leaders/Technical Experts)

  • Time: Wednesday, March 12, 10:30-12:00

  • Location: Room B214, Building 8, School of Chemical Engineering and Materials, TUST

  • Content: Discuss the alignment between enterprise needs and university talent cultivation; explore the joint establishment of internship/practice bases and talent training bases between universities and enterprises; discuss customized talent training models.

4. Student Career Development Guidance Lecture (Special Session for Enterprise HR)

  • Time: Wednesday, March 12, 9:30-11:00

  • Location: Room B203, Building 8, School of Chemical Engineering and Materials, TUST

  • Content: Enterprise HR professionals share industry trends, job search skills, career planning, etc., to assist student growth and development.

IV. School Profile and Graduate Information

1. School Profile
Established in 2015, the School of Chemical Engineering and Materials integrates two first-level disciplines: Chemical Engineering and Technology, and Materials Science and Engineering. Among these, the Salt Chemical Engineering program is renowned as the "Whampoa of the Salt Industry," and the Polymer Materials and Engineering program was approved as the only ministerial-level key discipline in this field within the former light industry system. Currently, the School is one of the most comprehensive and strongest schools at TUST. The School hosts a Postdoctoral Research Station in Chemical Engineering and Technology, possesses a first-level discipline doctoral program authorization point in "Chemical Engineering and Technology," two first-level master's program authorization points in "Chemical Engineering and Technology" and "Materials Science and Engineering," and a professional degree authorization field in "Materials and Chemical Engineering." It is the only institution under Tianjin municipality with a doctoral program authorization point in the first-level discipline of "Chemical Engineering and Technology." The Chemical Engineering and Technology program is a National First-Class Undergraduate Program construction site, a Tianjin Advantageous & Characteristic Specialty, a Tianjin Brand Specialty, and has passed the Ministry of Education's Engineering Education Professional Certification. The Polymer Materials and Engineering program is a National First-Class Undergraduate Program construction site and a Tianjin Brand Specialty.
