On January 3, a delegation of five individuals, led by Mr. Wang Ximing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nangang Group, visited Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST) for cooperation and exchange. The delegation was received by Ms. Xu Jing, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Chemical Engineering and Materials, Professor Yin Zhen, Vice Dean of the School, Mr. Wang Weijun, Section Chief of the Technology Transfer Center, and leaders of relevant research teams.

Accompanied by Vice Dean Yin Zhen, Deputy Secretary Wang Ximing and his delegation first visited the TUST Science Park for an inspection tour. They listened to a detailed introduction by Mr. Wang Weijun and visited several enterprises located within the park. Subsequently, they proceeded to the School for an exchange symposium with faculty representatives.

During the symposium, Secretary Xu Jing extended a warm welcome to Deputy Secretary Wang Ximing and his delegation. She briefly introduced the development history of the university and the school, as well as recent achievements in education and distinctive strengths. Deputy Secretary Wang Ximing gave a brief overview of the development status of the Nangang Industrial Park. He expressed the hope to reach further consensus and cooperation with the School in areas such as student cultivation, industrial integration, and the joint establishment of specialized technology companies. Following this, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions focusing on scientific research, achievement transformation, and the construction of pilot-scale testing bases.

The School will continue to advance industry-university-research cooperation with enterprises. It hopes to strengthen all-round collaboration with the Nangang Industrial Park in the future, aiming for shared benefits and new breakthroughs in the transformation of the School's scientific and technological achievements.
